The annual Canadian Tulip Festival is in full swing across Ottawa. All you need to do is walk for 5 minutes downtown and there is no doubt that you will see a tulip. The Tulip Festival in Ottawa is the largest tulip festival in Canada and it takes over the entire city. Going to the tulip festival every year may be a tradition of yours, but this year you can switch things up and try doing yoga alongside the prettiest tulips.

With so many pretty tulips in full bloom there's no better way to spend your day than by doing some relaxing yoga. All you need to bring is your yoga mat to participate in this amazing free activity. Spending time outside is the number one thing we all want to do now that it's sunny and warm, this free yoga class is a perfect chance to embrace the warmth and soak up the sun.

This unique yoga class is happening again this Saturday. The Canadian Tulip Festival has partnered with City of OM to bring us this relaxing yoga class. Taking deep breaths in while being right beside a bunch of blooming tulips is sure to have you in total zen mode.

Jen Dalgeish will be the instructor at the free class. She likes her students to feel inspired and creative. She loves to teach uplifting and strengthening classes. Jen has completed over 400 hours of training in classical Hatha, Core Vinyasa, and Power.  For Jen yoga plays a key role in living with serenity, courage, and curiosity.

City of OM is responsible for the massive yoga festival coming to Ottawa this summer. The entire festival is dedicated to connecting the Ottawa community to a world of mindful living. Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or an expert, everyone is welcome to join the festival. There will be plenty of "Om'ies" walking about at the event, they will be giving away gift cards to Whole Foods too, so be sure to say hi when you see them.

Major's Hill Park is where the yoga class will take place and it is filled with colourful tulips. Whether you turn your head to the left or to the right, there are tulips all around you at this amazing park. With so many pretty tulips everywhere, this event is super unique and can't be missed.
