The NBA season is in full swing, and the 6ix is once more cheering on their favourite team. The Toronto Raptors have been bringing fire to the court, but soon they'll be turning up the heat in a whole new way. Your mealtime is about to get hotter with the launch of a limited edition sauce by one of the Raptors' teammates. Pascal Siakam's Nando's hot sauce is being released Thursday, and we're already cheering for it.
Pascal Siakam, aka "Spicy P", is bringing even more spice to the North with his new hot sauce collaboration.
The 25-year-old, who was recently named an NBA all-star, has worked with Nando's to create his own unique bottle of "Spicy P(ERi-PERi)," which will be launching today, February 13, 2020.
The sauce is made from a special African chilli and allows Raptors fans to taste the heat.
“My game has a ton of flavour and spice, so it makes sense that I bottle it up into my very own Spicy P(ERi-PERi),” Siakam said in a press release.
“I am excited to collaborate with Nando’s on this and finally give fans what they’ve been asking for."
The bottle features the all-star shooting hoops on a bright, colourful label.
A portion of profits from every bottle sold will be donated to Right To Play. This non-profit organization empowers children impacted by poverty and war through sports and activities.
“Basketball fans have cheered on Pascal over the years and now they can join him in transforming the lives of children across Canada and around the world," Kevin Frey, CEO of Right to Play said in a press release.
You can now indulge in the heat of the game off the court with this exciting new product.
The hot sauce will be available in Nando's Restaurants and Sobeys starting today.
On March 4, 2020, you'll be able to find the sauce in additional stores that sell Nando's PERi-PERi.
Spicy P(ERi-PERi) is only available while supplies last, so don't wait to score a bottle.
