There is nothing more exhilarating that watching a scary film in the same setting it was filmed. You can have a summer thrilling experience at this in-water theatre event this summer. Pensacola Beach is hosting the popular event Jaws on the Water where guests will have the opportunity to float in the Santa Rosa Sound while watching the bone chilling iconic shark film.
You can chill in the water while watching the famous movie Jaws with all of your friends. The thrilling movie will be shown on two days, June 21st and June 22nd. This Jaw-some event will feature music, free shark-bite body art and tons of photo opportunities.
Tickets cost $35 per person and it includes a shark approved float, a glow necklace, shark-bite body art, exclusive access to vendors and more. Instead of going to a regular in-dine theatre experience, you can watch the coolest movie in the water!
This makes the perfect scene while floating in Florida waters and especially when shark activity is common around the state. According to Apalachicola Times, the first victim in the movie Jaws was played by a West Palm Beach-based stunt woman who used to swim as a mermaid in Weeki Wachee Springs.
Christian Garman, who is a local meteorologist and shark fanatic, serves as Master of Ceremonies. He also dreams of witnessing a real-life Sharknado.
The gates will open at 6 pm and the movie is set to start at 8 pm. All children ages 7 to 12 are required to wear a life jacket. There will be enough food for everyone to enjoy and multiple outdoor bars selling beverages. Also, Jelly's Eatery will be selling a special food menu for the ocassion.
You can purchase tickets for the event through Eventbrite here. The movie event will be in Jelly's Eatery located at 5 Via De Luna Drive Pensacola Beach, FL 32561. We can't wait to see you there!
