People Are Convinced "Gomez Effect" Is The Reason Why All Of Selena Gomez's Boyfriends Go Back To Their Exes
Over this past weekend, it was reported that Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin had rekindled their romance. It originally sparked late in 2016 and ended within the early months of 2017. The two were seen cuddling at both church and a nightclub in Miami, before swimming and seeing a movie together on Monday.
Hollywood Life has revealed that a source close to Bieber's ex, Selena Gomez, says that it hurts for her to see him with Baldwin. The model actually was known to be the cause of Gomez and Bieber attending couples therapy during their most recent rekindling. This was because Bieber was apparently talking to Baldwin again, something that seems to have lead to the reboot of their relationship.

Honestly, we feel for Gomez because it's never easy to see an ex-lover fall in love with someone new. But she's got to be reeling in the fact that her other ex-boyfriend, The Weeknd is back with ex Bella Hadid and they seem more in love than ever!

The "Gomez Effect" seems to suggest that dating the singer is somehow responsible for reuniting these old flames. Another one of Gomez's exes, musician Zedd, revealed that the worst part of dating her was the headlines and news that surround her.
Zedd said to Billboard in 2017, " She is one of the most talked about people in the world, but I had no idea how much that would change my life." The musician said paparazzi were calling his parents and hacking his friend's phones, stating that he underestimated what he was getting into.
While Zedd has not been reported back with an ex-girlfriend, he has reignited some beef with Diplo. Maybe the "Gomez Effect" is not so much about past relationships, but instead about causing others to bring back negative energy into their lives after their breakups.
It doesn't seem like Selena is taking her ex's new relationships too personally considering how much shade was dropped in the new music video for her song "Back To You". Fans mentioned that the Bieber look-alike (complete with swoopy bangs) and mentions of Italy, France, Canada, Michigan, and Russia are linked to her exes.
Both The Weeknd and Biebs are from Canada, but Zedd is Russian. Meanwhile, Gomez also dated "Twilight" star, Taylor Lautner (also the ex of her BFF Taylor Swift), in 2009. Lautner is, of course, from Michigan, so it seems like those mentions aren't random after all.
Still though, lyrics from her new song mention "You can break my heart in two, but when it heals, it beats for you, I know it's forward, but it's true, won't lie, I'd go back to you". The next question we have is which ex is she yearning to go back to?
Selena was most recently linked to Justin Theroux, but with a 21 year age difference, it's hard to imagine this relationship lasting long. Let's see if he gets back with ex-wife Jennifer Anniston before we claim this power is in full effect.
