It's supermoon season and we are here for it. The night sky in the desert is a sight for sore eyes, plus, the mountains make it easy to get up close and personal with the stars. Grab some friends and some drinks for an epic night of stargazing near Phoenix. It'll be a night you won't soon forget.

Cocktails Under the Cosmos is a boozy stargazing event happening on Tuesday, April 7 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tickets cost $45 per person and it includes two cocktails or glasses of wine, appetizers, and access to a telescope for up-close views of certain celestial formations.

Each stargazing session features a different signature cocktail with an astrology theme. The theme of this event is the Aries supermoon.

You can drink a cosmo while staring at the cosmos.

This evening takes place at Mountain Shadows Resort on the Camelback viewing deck. Their location in Paradise Valley removes you from the light pollution of the city so you get a good look at the lights above.

Narcity spoke with the curator of the appetizers for more details. Some of the awesome snacks you can expect include a crostini trio, hummus and veggies, antipasti, charcuterie, and more. Sounds out of this world good!

An expert will be onsite to help guide your viewing and point out notable things worth looking at through the telescope.

Whether you're a stargazing novice looking to explore this pastime or an avid fan excited to share your passion with others, this event is a great way to explore the night sky.

The night sky is full of wonders. It's a whole new way to sight-see without traveling far.

Plus, astrology-themed cocktails and yummy snacks are right up our alley.

This is a new take on a date night and it's astronomically fun.

Who knows, you might even see a shooting star.
