You Can Visit This Beachy Island Paradise With Crystal Blue Water In Arizona

This place is a true oasis in the desert.
Pittsburgh Point In Arizona Has Crystal Blue Waters & Sandy Beaches

The Grand Canyon State is not known for having tons of water, let alone islands. That's what makes this so special. One of the best beaches is on Pittsburgh Point in Arizona, an island paradise of rocky points and crystal waters. Plus, you can walk over a world-famous bridge to reach it if you don't want to take a boat.

Pittsburgh Point is home to Lake Havasu City, one of the only resorts and beach towns in the state. While sand isn't necessarily hard to come by, a good beach is nearly impossible to find.

What's even cooler is this quaint little island can be reached by one of the most famous bridges in the world: The London Bridge.  It was built in London and was once part of a series of bridges that crossed the River Thames in the 1800s.

The island is open year-round and free to visit. It's a great place to go for a beach weekend or even for a fun boating trip. The water is a clear crystal blue that's perfect for swimming.

It's also an amazing spot for boating, fishing, hiking, biking, and a host of other outdoor activities. A large portion of the island is part of the Lake Havasu State Park, so nature is not difficult to come by.

But mostly we're here for the beach and the blue waters

It's hard to believe this spot is in Arizona, but this state is full of surprises

There's even a plaque with a story behind the bridge, so you know it's legit. My mind is still reeling with the fact that an actual London Bridge was shipped here brick by brick.

Grab your towel, your BFF or SO, and your bathing suit for the ultimate spring break getaway!

Between swimming, sandy beaches, and perfect Arizona weather, this island is a true paradise.
