Canada has been gearing up to potentially welcome the royal couple to our homeland and the excitement is building. They recently headed home to the UK after a vacation in Vancouver, but reportedly didn't take an important family member back with them. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son Archie is rumoured to be hanging with her BFF Jessica Mulroney while they're in England.
Yesterday we learned that they are leaving their royal duties behind in order to make a move that will leave them financially independent from The Queen.
According to People, "Archie remained in Canada while the couple flew to London, where they made their first appearance of the new year at Canada House on Tuesday to thank the country for hosting them during their holiday getaway."
They continued, "It is believed that Archie stayed with Meghan’s close pal Jessica Mulroney, whose three children served as page boys and a flower girl in the couple’s royal wedding in May 2018."
Shortly after the Royals' announcement, Mulroney took to Instagram to share a photo that says, "A strong woman looks a challenge in the eye and gives it a wink - Gina Carey" which could be a hint of Markle's bravery over the past years.
The Canadian fashion stylist has been married to TV host Ben Mulroney since 2008 and they share three kids together. His father is former Prime Minister of Canada, Brian Mulroney.
Archie is reportedly staying with the Mulroney family until his parents return to Canada.
People continued writing that "During their visit to the Canada House in London, Meghan revealed that Archie was in awe of the natural beauty of Canada."
It hasn't been confirmed when his parents will be back but according to the statement they will be splitting time between "the United Kingdom and North America" and many are rooting for their new home to be on Canadian soil.
