Believe it or not, there are actually tons of private islands in Georgia. They may be the state's best kept secret but once you discover the hidden gems, you may want to stay local for your next vacay. This massive private island in Georgia is now listed for $1.95 million and it's actual goals.

Eagle Island (formerly knows as Cow Island) is part of Georgia's Golden Isles and sits pretty about 35 miles from Sea Island on Darien River. It was recently listed for nearly $2 million but there's a great deal of bonuses included in the offer.

The private island is a whopping 145 acres of mystical marshland and 10 miles of island that includes a lodge and a pontoon boat. To add even more to this package deal, you'll also own part (0.5 acres) of Sapelo Island.

Although there are no beaches on Eagle Island, there is access to six miles of beaches on your portion of Sapelo, which is rich in Native American culture and history.

The 3,343-square-foot main lodge home was built with Cypress walls and ceilings The lodge features three bedrooms and two full baths with a lower level that sleeps eight.

We can't forget about the serene 1,500-square-foot wrap-around porch with incredible views of the island and water. There's also a hot tub, hammock and an eight-foot island bed swing. If this isn't paradise, we don't know what is.

There are tons more amenitites but we can't write a book. The good news is that you can actually vacation here (for now). You can book a getaway on the Private Islands of Georgia site for as low as $50 per night, per person if you grab a group of 12.

Let's hope we still have a bit of time to take advantage of this opportunity before someone rich claims it from the market.
