Before the first leaves of autumn start to change colour, pumpkin spice fever sweeps across Canada. It began innocently enough, with lattes, donuts, and cookies, but now the craze may be getting a little out of hand. Baked goods and desserts are no longer the only food items to take on the flavour, and we're not sure how we feel about this latest one. Pumpkin Spiced SPAM in Canada actually exists and you can buy it this fall.

The famous meat-in-a-can will be launching its very real Pumpkin Spice limited edition on Sept. 23, 2019. You can buy this festive meat on SPAM's online store and have it delivered straight to your door.

While SPAM has experimented with flavours in the past, this is the first time the brand has jumped on the pumpkin spice bandwagon, and we're all wondering how long they'll be able to ride it for.

While there isn't actually any real pumpkin in the meat, it will be mixed with cinnamon, clove, allspice, and nutmeg for a true autumn taste. SPAM can apparently be used in a number of recipes, including brunches and quick snacks.

Between lattes, cereal, cookies, and now meat, perhaps we should all just move to a pumpkin patch for the rest of the season. If you're pumpkin-obsessed enough to give this strange new SPAM experiment a try, then don't wait too long! The festive meat will only be available for a limited time while Pumpkin Spice fever is still strong.
