Leading up to Christmas, Santa Claus doesn't spend his time up in the North Pole. He's hanging out in a secret village within a forest in Quebec. Woodooliparc Village is a magical winter wonderland that will make you feel the Christmas spirit.

Every November, Frima: The Magic of Christmas transforms Woodooliparc into an enchanting Christmas village nestled between the trees near Quebec City. For more than a month, you can enjoy the Christmas magic and wonder that comes with the holiday season.

No matter how old you are, at the Christmas village, there's seasonal fun for everyone to take part in.

You can wander through the village of elves' houses or try and find your way out of a maze or visit the post office to write to send letters to Santa or take in an illuminated miniature village with 600 tiny houses.

There's even a toy workshop!

And if there's fresh snowfall while you're there, is there anything more magical than walking through a forest lit up by Christmas lights while the snow falls around you?

As you make your way through the village, between the trees and beneath the Christmas lights, you can sip on alcoholic coffee and a roaring campfire will keep you warm.

Santa is in his office, probably checking that naughty and nice list while Mrs. Claus is busy in the kitchen baking cookies for everyone.

But the village closes early on December 24 so Santa can get on his sleigh and deliver gifts to kids around the world and is completely closed on December 25 to give Santa a much needed day off.

More than 22,000 people visited the Christmas village in 2018, according to Ma Beauce

The Christmas village is open to visitors from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturdays and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays from November 23 until December 21.

After that, the village will be open every day from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. so everyone can enjoy the winter wonderland.

Santa and Mrs. Claus are waiting for you!
