Prince's Toronto Mansion Is For Sale & You Could Live Out All Your Rockstar Dreams
Prince lived in Toronto from 2001-2006
If you’ve ever wanted to live like a rock star without actually being one, you finally can. The only catch is that it’s also going to cost you $16 million. A 14,280 square foot Toronto mansion formerly owned by Prince and his ex-wife Manuella Testolini, who lived in Toronto from 2001-2006, is currently for sale on Toronto’s real estate market.
The sprawling 6-bedroom, 10-bathroom property, located at 61 The Bridle Path, has been laid out so that virtually every room in the estate walks out into its stunning garden.
However, according to Better Dwelling, that scheme awkwardly led to several of the mansion's bathrooms having garden views. Thankfully, you could quickly solve that issue with some well-placed curtains or tinted windows.
The house is full of little details which are reminiscent of the late musician's personal taste.
For instance, one of the room features what appears to be a purple orb surrounded by a moat, and if that doesn’t give you Prince vibes, I don’t know what will.
The “Purple Rain” singer also put a dressing room and billiards room in the house, which admittedly clashes with the rest of the estate’s vibe.
Still, the man did turn himself into a symbol at one point, so I don’t think he cared much for creating a harmonious atmosphere.
The master bedroom is equally as tranquil with a panel of doors leading right to the garden, giving it an almost early 1900’s vibe.
A beautiful walkway also leads to the massive suite, which features an enormous closet with access to a marble-clad ensuite bath with a fancy sunken tub.
The estate also features a full-size Tennis court, a heated cabana with a wet bar and a swimming pool.
So, if you ever get bored of wandering around the luxurious halls of this super mansion, there is still plenty to do outside.
Prince, who died back in 2016 of an accidental drug overdose, left behind a fortune of an estimated $300 million and a musical legacy.
