A Canadian Children's Doctor Has Been Arrested After Attempting To Buy Sex From A Minor
A physician in Canada currently faces a number of charges following attempted sexual acts with someone under the age of 18. This Canadian children’s doctor has since been arrested after trying to buy sex from a minor. Two charges have been laid and bail has been set along with a number of conditions.

Dr. Ramkumar Natarajan is a 49-year-old paediatrician in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.According to Huffington Post, Natarajan is a University of Saskatchewan college of medicine pediatric respirologist and worked at the Royal University Hospital. On Friday, Natarajan appeared in provincial court after being accused of trying to purchase sex from a minor under the age of 18.
This Saskatoon physician is now facing one charge after attempting to obtain sexual services from someone under the age of 18. A second charge has also been laid due to Natarajan using a telecommunications device to facilitate the encounter with the minor.
According to The Saskatoon StarPhoenix, court documents show that the communication allegedly took place on February 20th, 2019 and March 21st, 2019. The document also stated that Natarajan attempted to purchase sex from the minor on March 21st of this year.
On Thursday, March 21st, Natarajan was arrested by local police without incident. He has since been released on bail for $500. He is also under multiple conditions including not to have contact with minors below the age of 18 unless they are immediate family members. He also has to promise to inform the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan about the situation.
On Friday, Huffington Post reported thathis College of Physicians and Surgeons profile did not list any disciplinary infractions. When you search up Natarajan's name on the University of Saskatchewan website, nothing shows up as his page has been removed. His Linked in profile has also been taken down since the arrest.

The Saskatoon StarPhoenix has reported that Natarajan has been removed from clinical duties and his health authority privileges have been suspected “in light of these charges.” Gord Hunchak, a University of Saskatchewan spokesperson said on Friday that the university “suspended Natarajan’s appointment as a clinical faculty member in the College of Medicine after learning about his arrest.”

Natarajan is set to appear back in court on April 9th of this year.
