If you've ever dreamed of escaping to Middle Earth or a fantasy world, now you can. This whimsical Airbnb rental in Michigan will make your heart sing with all its adorable hobbit vibes.

This hobbit house offered by Mushroom House Rentals is absolutely perfect for you and your friends. The location of this house is literally perfect for a getaway no matter the time of year.

It's extremely close to Charlevoix's public beach on Lake Michigan too. One satisfied Airbnb customer said that it only took them two minutes to walk there.

It was designed and built by the eccentric Earl Young. He was never officially a registered architect but it's clear that he had a talent and a vision by looking at his houses.

There are 31 similar homes like it in the beautiful city of Charlevoix, and his style is always distinct. His goal was to use more humble materials like rocks and thatch roofs and prove that they could be as grand as a castle.

He wanted his houses to fit into their landscape, which is a philosophy he shared with Frank Lloyd Wright. Lo & behold, the hobbit houses were born.

This place, in particular, is one of his finest.

There are six bedrooms, 5.5 baths, & can sleep up to 16 people for a weekend filled with fun.

The house has gorgeous windows that let in natural light & of course offer perfect sightlines to watch the sunset at the end of the day.

The interior is nothing to scoff at either. It has one of the most beautiful kitchens we've ever seen with the exterior stones incorporated into the walls and kitchen island design.

Much of the house features natural materials like wood & stone that further add to its hobbity charm. This place is pretty famous too, so don't be surprised if you see people stop for a photo outside during your stay.

The home offers a washer & dryer as well as a media room with Wi-Fi which is perfect for a cozy movie night with friends on a cold night. Netflix or Disney+ binge anyone?

The house runs for $1,500 a night but it also sleeps up to 16 people. Split between you & your friends, that's less than $94 each. Totally worth the experience of feeling like you've escaped into Middle Earth!

Whether you want to book this place during the winter to hit up the ski trails and tubing parks only 30 minutes away or during the summer to enjoy the hometown ice cream and gorgeous Lake Michigan views, this hobbit house is the perfect place to relax.
