Going out for dinner isn't just for the food anymore. It's for the whole experience. So, what if we were to tell you that you can dine under the stars while staying warm and toasty this winter? Whether you're planning a cozy date night at romantic restaurants in Washington state or to celebrate with friends, you can now rent out a whole igloo to dine in!
The Davenport Grand Hotel in Spokane has transformed its terrace with magical winter domes. You can rent one out for yourself and five of your friends for only $250 — that's just $41.66 per person.
These geodes are available through March between 5 p.m. and 10.30 p.m. every day. It can be booked for 1.5 hours at a time.
You can't just walk right in though. Reservations are required and you can even rent multiple igloos at a time — sounds like a roof party, doesn't it?
The heated, glassy cupolas also come with blankets you can snuggle under, and hook-ups so you can plug your phone in and groove to the music you like.
And here's the best part: Food and $100 worth of drinks are included in the price! It also comes with parking at the hotel and gratuity.
They have various packages that you can choose from depending on what you fancy.
Their "grand igloo package" includes everything from antipasto, charcuterie and cheese boards to smoked garlic hummus, pita bread, olives, and Marcona almonds.
If you could eat a whole meal, you can opt for the $300 premier package which comes with a variety of seafood — a wild jumbo white Gulf prawn cocktail, yellowfin tuna, poké, and wonton crisps.
Like us, if you'd rather tuck into desserts all day, every day, then their package aptly called "celebration" is for you.
We're talking peanut brittles, chocolate-covered strawberries, truffles and bubbly, you guys! So you can feel like its Valentine's Day any day.
Although we must admit that we can't wait for spring, we'll take this touch of magic for as long as the winter decides to last. Are you with us on that?
