New Braunfels' Wurstfest New Marktplatz Photos Were Revealed (PHOTOS)

Back in November of 2019, the iconic and beloved Wurstfest grounds in New Braunfels, Texas, were set aflame. After firefighters worked hard to get the fire put out, the area was a mess and the main Marktplatz was a total loss. The owners were quick to bounce back from their tragedy and start planning a new and improved space for guests to enjoy this upcoming November.

Wurstfest's Facebook page recently released new image renderings of their new Marktplatz and they look truly incredible.

On their post, they caption the photos "Is it November 6th yet? Who needs a sausage on a stick (or pork chop on a stick) and a funnel cake?"

We could definitely all go for some sauerkraut and bratwurst right now.

They continue their message to say, "While we all do our part to get through this year, here is a look at the newest renderings of the new Marketplatz."

Below are the stunning new renderings of what the Marktplatz is planned to look like once November rolls around!

The photos show high ceilings, long sleek hallways, amazing German architecture and a modern feel to the space.

Jim Hill, the 2019 Wurstfest President, stated that the fire from last year “was certainly saddening. However, we will not let this stop us. The Wurstfest Association will work hand and hand with our community to open the gates on November 6, 2020, stronger than ever."

This year, Wurstfest will occur from November 6 to November 15, 2020. It will be their 60th-anniversary celebration.

The fest goes all the way back to 1961 when the city meat inspector brought the festival to Texas to celebrate sausage! It was originally a one-day event but quickly turned into a week of meaty activities.

Now, Wurstfest is a popular event every year for Texans to flock to. They have music, food, shopping, rides, games, and many activities to join in on.

Plus, you have to go to pick up one of their giant pretzels and massive pitchers of beer. And soon, you'll be able to do so from inside their giant new Marktplatz.
