There's no arguing that we've all been enjoying the content zoos all over Texas have been putting out, especially when we're able to see animals try new tricks. Now, one zoo has come up with a trick of their own and is offering a never-been-done-before experience. The San Antonio Zoo is offering a drive-thru tour to give those who are seriously missing visiting all of their favorite animals the chance to finally see them up-close again, safely.
Starting Friday, May 1 the San Antonio Zoo is offering a drive-thru zoo experience, something they have never done before.
Tickets for the Drive-Thru Zoo will cost $40 per car and $32 per car for those who are Annual Pass or Monthly Membership holders.
The zoo will operate under new hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day that it's open for the drive-thru.
Tickets for some dates have already sold out, so we recommend buying yours here today if you're interested in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Not only have you missed all of your favorite animals, but they've missed you too!
The map above shows what your journey through the zoo will look like in great detail.
You'll get to see Bear Grottos, Africa Live!, Birds of the World, and much, much more.
You can even listen to audio and learn about all the animals you'll be seeing by visiting the zoo's website here.
Each vehicle that wants to come through the drive-thru must be no larger than a full-size SUV. Don't worry, that's pretty much all cars!
You and your family will be in the car for roughly thirty minutes to an hour.
Time flies when you're having fun!
