This Scenic Texas River Is The Perfect Place To Go Tubing This Summer

It's a great place to float your troubles away.

Summertime is quickly approaching and that means people are going to start wanting to go tubing. Tubing down rivers and pools at water parks is a great experience but not every Texas river has blue water or pretty views. The exciting Comal Tubes in New Braunfels Texas lets you not only tube down the river but also gives you a beautiful view while you're floating.

The Comal River has a constant flow and is completely spring fed which gives it its pretty clear water. This also allows the river to stay a cool 70 degrees year round making it the perfect place to beat the Texas heat.

The fun tubing company is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. During that time, you will be able to rent one of their three different styles of tubes then you will get a bus ride down to the river for a long 2-3 hour float. You can also bring your own tube to the party but by order of New Braunfels, no double tubes are allowed.

You can book the tubes online for just $20 as well as reserve your spot. If you plan to go with more than 20 of your closest friends, you'll need to call to make reservations at least 48 hours in advance.  They also offer a party bus option for those who like to really have some fun.

Once you've arrived at the Comal river enterance, you will be able to float for two to three hours until you get to the last exit spot that the bus will pick you up at. Alcoholic beverages are allowed as long as you don't take them in a glass container, so get ready to party all day down the gorgeous river.

Comal Tubes is located at 1880, I-35BL, New Braunfels, TX 78130. For more information on the river and tubing at the river, you can visit and book your experience at the Comal Tubes website here.
