San Antonio Is Having A Massive Taco Festival This Weekend And You Need To Try Everything

The San Antonio Taco Fest is this weekend and there will be so much food!

I'm sure you are incredibly excited for the upcoming epic Taco Fest happening in San Antonio this weekend because we are too. There will be so many different foods, drinks, and live music going on all day long, it is not an event to be missed. With over 30 taco vendors each selling tacos for only $2, you will be having the time of your life tasting every type of taco known to man! Here are some of the must-try foods that will be at the fest this weekend.

Some of the most intricate, loaded tacos ever will be served at the event, such as Original Donut Shop's cheesy quesadilla breakfast tacos and Sangria on the Burg's savory barbacoa BBQ tacos. Also, be on the lookout for Garcia's Mexican Food's giant brisket tacos that come with a massive slice of meat and tons of veggie toppings.

Big Poppas Tacos will be at the event with their iconic Hot Cheetos tacos. Yes, you read that right. Get a delicious cheesy meat taco that is piled high with garnish, lime, and everyone's favorite snack, Hot Cheetos!

There will be some delicious vegetarian taco options including the jerk jackfruit tacos from The Jerk Shack. They will also have chicken and pork options for their flavorful jerk tacos. Other vendors like Sancho's and Senior Veggie will also have vegetarian and vegan options, so don't let the meaty options scare you away!

If you haven't tried Taco Blvd's insane loaded al pastor tacos, you haven't lived yet! The taco spots specialty is their al pastor taco that is loaded with grilled onions, avocado, and tons of crumbled cheese. You need to try one if you are headed to the fest.

There will also be non-taco treats like loaded fruit cups, topped with everyone's favorite lime juice, tajin, and chamoy. Other sweet treats you may find will be desserts from conchas to ice cream, and of course an incredible array of frozen margaritas!

General Admission tickets and VIP tickets are still on sale, so grab a pair if you haven't already! Tickets go for $25 for GA and $80 for VIP. You can purchase them on their website now.

The 2019 Taco Fest will be located at the La Villita Historic Arts Village. You can visit their website for more information here.
