Sea World told Narcity the veterinarians and trainers reported both dolphin moms (aka Malibu and Maggie) and the calves to be in good health and that they're swimming together and bonding. Awww.
The calves are estimated to be 40 pounds each and their genders will be revealed in the upcoming weeks.
Malibu is a 21-year-old bottlenose dolphin weighing in at 475 pounds. This is her second-born calf. Maggie is 16 years old and weighs 425 pounds. This is her first calf.
Narcity is currently reaching out to Sea World San Diego for an ethics statement. We will update the article as soon as we hear back.
There are plenty of fun rides and attractions to see at Sea World as well. Why not grab your BFFs and make a day trip out of the adventure?
