Ontario’s Beachside Food Truck Is Perfect For Taco Dates In The Sunshine

You'll feel like you're in Mexico!

If eating tacos and sipping Mexican sodas on the beach sounds like your perfect sunny afternoon, then we've found just the place for you. There’s a totally adorable retro food truck in Ontario and it’s definitely something to taco 'bout. Located on the sandy Sauble Beach, Casero Taco Bus has a menu that will make your mouth water.

Here, you can taste a variety of delicious tacos from spiced sweet potatoes to hickory-smoked brisket, and so much more.

They also have authentic churros, burritos, quesadillas, and, of course, chips and guac on the menu.

Holy smokes.

And it doesn’t end there, either.

The retro 1949 double-decker bus has been parking at Sauble Beach and serving fresh, homemade tacos since 2013.

This delicious hidden gem is currently closed for the season but don't worry. It will reopen in summer 2020 so you can get your taco date on.

There are picnic tables available for sitting near the bus, or you can pack a beach blanket and cuddle up in the sand to enjoy your meal.

So, if you’ve already started putting together your 2020 summer bucket list, be sure to add this charming beachy spot to the list ASAP.

Sounds spec-taco-lar, if you ask us.

As far as taco fillings go, the variety here truly offers something for everyone’s taste buds.

Meat lovers will drool over the house-made brisket, pulled pork, and char-grilled chicken.

More of a seafood fanatic? Try the crispy shrimp tacos or whitefish tacos caught from Georgian Bay.

And don’t worry, vegetarians, they’ve got you covered too with tasty spiced sweet potato and crispy cauliflower options.

You can get all of those fillings in a burrito or quesadilla as well. Or, if you’re feeling hungry, why not try the double-decker?

This treat starts with a fresh flour tortilla and is layered with cheese and a crispy corn tortilla, then topped with any of the meats or veggies we mentioned.

You’ll have to remember to bring cash with you as debit cards are not accepted. You can pay with credit cards if your order is over $20.

According to local reviews, it’s always a good idea to call ahead, as the popular bus has been known to sell out on busy days.

But with a second year-round location in Owen Sound, you should be covered.

So, if you’re looking for romantic road trip destinations or charming squad dates this summer, be sure to hit up this totally burrito-ful spot.
