Old, used, bookstores are one in a million now. There are not many of these rare treasures around anymore, but when you find them, you want to stay for hours. Savannah has one of those unique bookstores.

The Book Lady Bookstore in Savannah, Georgia is hidden in plain sight, and from the outside, you would never even imagine what lies ahead on the inside.

Without knowing that this gem was right here, you might walk right past it, but we are sure it is worth turning around and checking out.

Throughout this cozy little store, you will find rows and rows of books from the past and even some new ones. There are also rooms like the Rare Book Room you can explore.

The Rare Book Room includes first edition books, signed books, and first printed books. These are books that you cannot find anywhere else on the map.

Every day employees hear, "This is an amazing store! It looks just like an old bookstore should". From the photos, you will agree.

There are random vintage chairs and nooks to sit in to snap a trendy picture, and of course, look through one of the old books.

Find the two fireplaces that are located inside of the store, and even cozy up there to look through a few books.

The store has over 40 genres of books that include fiction and nonfiction paperback, and hardback books.

There are thousands of books that sit on the shelves, and most of them are all used and each has stories to them.

The Bookstore Lady gets its books from recycling. The owners buy books from anybody who has some in excellent condition, even if they are a little older.

The fun does not stop at exploring the store, they also host events during the week like Friday night "Wine & Signs," and author readings. Check out their schedule, here, to find all the fun things going on throughout the summer.

If that is not enough, the store also has a small coffee shop that has Wi-Fi and some great coffee. This gem has everything you would think a vintage bookstore would have.
