Dan Levy's SAG Red Carpet Look Was A Tribute To "Schitt's Creek" & It Was Iconic (PHOTO)

There are only a few more weeks left of having Canada's leading comedy on our screens and the actors are making the absolute most of it. The Schitt's Creek cast's Screen Actors Guild Awards appearance turned into a tribute for the series. Dan Levy orchestrated the simple but huge gesture on the red carpet. 

Wearing a tuxedo overcoat, Levy strutted the red carpet in his usual impeccable fashion and signature black glasses. However, there was an extra something embroidered on his overcoat that had even the official Schitt's Creek Twitter account sobbing. 

The left side of his outfit included a stitched picture of a white rose.

If you're familiar with the show, you'll know that the comedy series focuses on the Rose family who runs and lives at the Rosebud Motel. 

Although the tribute was subtle, to fans of the series it could mean the world to have six seasons of the show wrapped up into one image. 

Levy wasn't the only one slaying awards season.  

Catherine O'Hara gave Moira Rose's wardrobe a run for its money with a glittery sunset-orange gown, while Emily Hampshire stunned crowds in a burgundy low cut dress.  

They were joined by the rest of the cast — Annie Murphy, Eugene Levy, Noah Reid, Jennifer Robertson and Dustin Milligan. 

The nine actors were nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, while Catherine O'Hara was also nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series. 

Although the cast left empty-handed, the iconic father-son duo Dan and Eugene Levy got the opportunity to present two awards on stage.

The final season of the series is currently airing, but the ensemble will have another opportunity at making it to awards season next year.
