A Disney Costume Exhibit Is Coming To MoPop Seattle & It's Going To Be Magical

What dazzles us more than the heartwarming storylines on a Disney flick? The stunning costumes, of course! If you've ever dreamed of getting close to those belle-ish ball gowns and glass slippers, you're in for a treat. A Disney costume exhibit is coming to MoPop, Seattle

Museum of Pop Culture (MoPop) announced that it was opening its exhibit called Heroes and Villains: The Art of the Disney Costume in partnership with the Walt Disney Archives in October 2020.

Although the pricing details haven't been announced yet, tickets could cost anywhere between $28 and $36 per adult.

The exhibit will bring your favorite movies to life with over 70 original items from Academy Award-winning Hollywood designers like Colleen Atwood, Sandy Powell, and Tony Walton.

It'll include those stunning ball gowns that we've all drooled over, sorcerers’ capes, military uniforms we've imagined our beaus in, tiaras, and the iconic glass slippers.

While the idea behind it is to showcase just how much these attires go into shaping our love for these characters, you can totally get ready for some amazing photo ops.

The D23 Expo in California first debuted the collection. MoPop will be the first to host it.

You can check this video to see what you'll get to feast your eyes on.

You can stroll through the museum's main gallery which will be divided into “Disney Heroes,” “Disney Villains,” and “Spaces Between” for our beloved anti-heroes like Maleficent and the Evil Queen.

There's going to be a "Cinderella's Workshop" with all of the outfits from her incarnations in everything from the 2014’s Into the Woods to the ABC hit series Once Upon a Time.

You'll also be able to spot Belle’s village dress and ballgown from 2017’s Beauty and the Beast, Giselle and Prince Edward’s costumes from Enchanted, and Mary Poppins' rather popping outfits!

While more details on all the interactive features at the exhibit will be released closer to the date of the event, we're already hoping that there'll be dress tryouts and photo ops with Prince Charming.

A girl can dream, right?
