Colorful, airy and chic, there's something about macarons that always transports us to a faraway place. The amazing thing about these delectable treats is that you can always add a personal touch to it to make it your own. This custom macaron spot in Seattle has now rolled out a line of tasty treats to ring in the Lunar New Year!

Located in White Center, this quaint Seattle eatery called Macadons designs adorable sweets that are almost too cute to eat.

This time, these treats come decorated in colorful dashes of red and gold — some even with a mousey twist to welcome the Year of the Rat.

You can order a box of six or twelve online or stop by their store to pick it up.

Whether you're in the mood for something fruity or creamy, there's something for every type of taste. The special-edition flavors range from strawberry and cookies 'n' cream to salted caramel.

The co-founder of the store, Donna Chan, told Narcity that the prices for these airy confections are $16 for half a dozen and $30 for 12 of them. They are only available for a limited time, until February 9.

You can also personalize them with a design or an image of your choice, made with edible ink. Each customization costs $5 and each macaron is $2.50.

Looking for flavors that are a little more exotic? You can also try out unique Asian fares like taro, durian, lychee, black sesame, and matcha!

If you're someone who orders flavored iced tea every time you get take out, you're going to want to hear us out: they have a Thai tea flavor as well!

All of these are made with almond flour, and most are gluten-free too.

If you're more of a traditionalist but love a little twist to your treat, you can get a macaron-ice cream sandwich.

They have a range of options, like cinnamon toast crunch or ones that'll give you a nostalgia trip like birthday cake.

Last year, they even had the cutest Valentine's Day puns on them. If you ask us, we'd keep our eyes peeled for these Instagram-friendly foods in the coming weeks.
