Sephora Fans Are Practically Begging The Company To Drop Their Partnership With Olivia Jade Amid Scandal
UPATE: Olivia Jade's partnership has been dropped by Sephora. You can read more about that here.
In the midst of the ivy league bribing scandal, Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman aren't the ones getting most of the heat. In fact, it's one of Lori's daughters, Olivia Jade Giannulli, who is best known as Olivia Jade. On YouTube, she has almost 2 million subscribers and snatched a partnership with Sephora, where she made her own bronze and illuminate palette. However, Sephora fans are practically begging the company to drop their partnership with Olivia Jade over this scandal.
If you haven't heard of this scandal, over 50 celebrities and CEOs were caught in a college admissions scam which was ultimately them bribing money to get their kids into school. While Felicity Huffman spent $15,000 to get her daughter to be able to cheat on the college entrance exam, Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli paid $500,000 to get their daughters 'recruited' to be on the crew team. Neither of them were rowers.
Now, back to Olivia. Olivia has a very trustworthy following, and her fans love her. However, she's been in the middle of controversy before. Olivia has made controversial comments about college in the past, saying she 'didn't care about school' and 'wanted to go to parties and game days'. When fans called her out for it, she apologized and said she was being ignorant. However, fans are using that against her now and want Sephora to drop their partnership with her ASAP.
Olivia came out with a palette with Sephora on December 26th, and it sold out so fast. The palette was called 'Olivia Jade x Sephora Collection Bronze & Illuminate Palette', and it's currently out of stock. Fans don't want it to come back in stock, in fact, they want Sephora to completely drop Olivia as a partner. ALL of Sephora's Instagram comments are about this. You can view some of the comments below:
As you can see, fans pretty much won't be happy with the company until they think something has been done. There is no way Sephora isn't weighing their options, but the brand HP has already dropped their partnership with Olivia and Lori. It could be just a matter of time.
