There are very few figures in today's pop culture that have a further reach into such a multitude of areas of interest like Shaquille O'Neal. For sports and basketball enthusiasts, he is considered one of the most dominant forces the NBA has ever seen.

For fans of dance, we have already witnessed multiple times that the big man is more than capable on any dance floor. For movie buffs, Shaq can hang with the best of them. When it comes to music, Shaq has not only been active with his own contributions to rap but he has also been a long-time admirer of the art form. So, this painting Shaq recently shared seems to be the perfect fit for him.

The impressive painting was made by artist Justin Wadlington, also known as Blind Eye Visions, due to the artist being blind in one eye.

Wadlington specializes in recreating photographs perfectly into drawings or paintings. Many of his previous works would fool anyone into believing they are indeed photographs and not man-made drawings. Take this painting of a Philadelphia Eagles football player for example:

A lot of Wadlington's work focuses on sports and music. So who better for the artist to meet than Shaquille O'Neal?

In the specific piece that O'Neal was given, titled Apotheosis of Legends, rappers Tupac Shakur, Notorious BIG, Eazy-E and Nipsey Hussle are all seen together in what seems like some form of a mausoleum of the afterlife. All four rappers passed away with Hussle being the most recently to have passed after a tragic shooting earlier this year.

Oddly enough, another NBA superstar also recently brought up the memory of the deceased Los Angeles rapper. Earlier this week, LeBron James took a selfie on Instagram with a caption dedicated to Hussle.

Wadlington himself posted an insightful video of his meeting with Shaq and his explanation of the painting.

It turns out, O'Neal was handed a limited edition version of the painting by Blind Eye Visions.

This guy sure knows how to get on the good side of Shaq!
