The big day has finally come, and 2019 is officially coming to an end. With just hours left to not only the year, but also the decade, there's so much to reflect on, but also so much to look forward to, like all the shows and movies coming to Netflix Canada this January.
If you're planning on ringing in the new year with some drinks, dancing and your closest friends tonight, odds are good that you'll be hurting a bit tomorrow morning, but if anything, that's just the perfect excuse to stay in bed and catch up on new Netflix all day.
Every new month, the streaming service releases a ton of new and exciting originals, and the list for January is looking bigger and better than ever before. The first of the month is bringing not only some brand new originals but also some old classics that you'll love to watch again.
Later in the month, Netflix users will also be getting a second season of the hit teen series Sex Education, a third season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and the final season of Anne With An E, just to name a few.
There's so much to be excited about in 2020! What will you watch first?
If you want to spend your New Years Day watching something you've never seen before, Messiah is a great option. The show tells the story of a mysterious cult leader who, after gaining a mass following, picks up the interest of a CIA agent who will stop at nothing to catch him.
If you enjoyed the film Black Swan, you'll definitely want to check out Netflix's newest original series Spinning Out. The show is about a figure skater with dreams of going to the Olympics, but in order to achieve them, she must learn to balance love, family, and her fragile mental health.
You can never go wrong with some reality TV, especially when fighting a hangover. Unfortunately, only one episode of The Circle will be hitting Netflix on January 1, but from the looks of things, the show is going to be filled with some seriously steamy drama that you won't want to miss.
