Those of us who live in the valley, consider ourselves lucky. With an average temperature of 60 degrees in the wintertime, Phoenicians can drive up to the snow in the north and drive an hour and a half home wearing shorts.
The stark difference in temperature makes Arizona an ideal place to live if you love warm weather year-round. Northern areas of the state such as Flagstaff can see temperatures drop as low as 31 degrees in early Spring.
At night, the valley can experience just below freezing temps in the winter and in other areas, you can see them drop below 20 degrees.
