Here's some wholesome content. Sophie Grégoire Trudeau's Instagram post shows her hanging out with her kids again and making rock art. Plus, she gave a shout out to another Canadian mom!
On April 1, the former television host posted photos on Instagram, one being of her kids in the middle of painting rocks and another of the finished product.
In the caption, she shared her inspiration for the art project.
"This idea touched my heart and I wanted to share it with all of you: A mom in Vancouver has started painting rocks with her little ones to help them adjust to the new realities we’re all facing," Grégoire Trudeau said.
Each rock has a monster face and an uplifting message like thanking others, being healthy or staying positive.
Red rock monsters are a reminder to stop and wash your hands while green ones tell you to keep your body strong by eating right and moving around.
"And now it’s turned into a movement to keep families all over the country connected," the mom of three said.
She mentioned that there's nothing more beautiful than connecting with others during this time.
While their rocks aren't monster-like, Grégoire Trudeau said her kids might start making those too.
"We’ve been painting rocks we found outside too - anything to keep the kids busy and their creative juices flowing," she said.
Canada's first lady also gave a shout out to the woman behind the rock monsters and thanked her for all the work she's doing.
On March 30, during his daily press conference, Justin Trudeau said that Grégoire Trudeau and their kids have gone to Harrington.
That's a summer residence and retreat in Quebec specifically for the Prime Minister.
The PM is staying in Ottawa and working from home so the whole family isn't together at Rideau Cottage anymore.
Grégoire Trudeau's first post on Instagram after testing positive for COVID-19 was a sweet throwback for her dad's birthday.
She also posted on Facebook after getting the all-clear from doctors.
"From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you to everyone who reached out to me with their well wishes," she said in her post.
Grégoire Trudeau tested positive for COVID-19 on March 12 and was in quarantine at home while recovering.
