The Spice Girls Are Reportedly Making A New Album

Attention all '90s children and Spice Girl fans: Scary, Sporty, Baby, Ginger and Posh Spice are reportedly getting back together.

We told them what we want, what we really, really want, and we got it. All five original members of the 1990s pop group are expected to reunite for a TV special and brand new album after years of rumours.

Earlier this morning, news broke that that the most iconic girl band of all time would be reuniting, sending chills down the spines of 90s kids everywhere.

According to the Independent, Mel C has been working quietly with Simon Fuller, the band's former boss, over the past few months to bring all five members back for the one-off special and new album, which are expected to land next year.

A source told The Sun: "The five of them have been locked in secret talks since the summer, and finally they are all on-board for a 2018 reunion.

"As it stands, they will be working together on a series of projects, which will include an album and a TV special celebrating the Spice Girls - and getting Victoria to agree has been a coup for everyone involved, given she has always been the person holding back on a reunion.”

A Spice Girls reunion has been on the cards for years with Geri Horner, otherwise known as Ginger Spice, recently telling Red Magazine she'd "given up" trying.

But the closest fans have ever gotten to seeing the Spice Girls back together was back in 2012, when all five members sung at the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony.

Let's cross our fingers and hope that this will actually happen. Certain things shouldn't be joked about. And a Spice Girls reunion with all five members is one of them.

Time to get your old '90s CDs out again, this is a Spice Girls Christmas miracle!
