Vancouver Canucks’ Bo Horvat Says The NHL Suspension Is ‘Bigger Than Hockey’

When the announcement finally came, we discovered that the NHL’s season was to be suspended until further notice on account of the coronavirus pandemic. While the nation collectively took to social media to react, athletes were silent. Now,of the Vancouver Canucks has come forward online to share his thoughts.
The player posted on Instagram, opening with emotion. “It’s tough to not be preparing for a game right now,” he wrote, “but this is bigger than hockey.”

While it's unclear if and when the NHL will resume their regular season, it is clear that this Canuck supports the suspension.
