If there was any question who the greatest Toronto Raptor of all time is, Kyle Lowry ended that debate last night. Lowry led his team back from a 23-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Dallas Mavericks 110-107 at Scotiabank Arena Sunday afternoon. It was a record-breaking comeback that marked the largest in the franchise’s history and Toronto’s fifth straight victory.

Raptors fans were chanting Lowry’s name by the end of the game as he carried the city to victory with 32 points.

Toronto was down by a whopping 30 points with 2:55 remaining in the game’s third quarter. Incredibly, Lowry scored 20 of his 32 points in the final quarter — a record-breaking feat for the franchise.

"Historically, I would say we've always been a team that fights," Toronto head coach Nick Nurse said during a postgame interview. "We hardly ever mail it in. That's a good quality to have."

A baffled Nurse even admitted that he has "never seen anything like" Lowry's fourth-quarter performance.

Lowry’s performance should serve as a reminder to fans that even without Pascal Siakam, Norman Powell, and Marc Gasol, who are out indefinitely with injuries, the Raptors still have a fighting chance.

Fans of the team were quick to take to social media to react to Lowry’s historic moment and a few KLow memes started to circulate the internet.

One user even wrote, "Best regular season game to ever attend. I would die for Kyle Lowry in a HEARTBEAT."

While the Raptors may have yet to beat Kawhi Leonard’s Clippers, last night's performance shows that the Raptors are still a formidable force without The Boardman.

Yet, not beating his former teammate hasn't seemed to stop Lowry. In fact, some even claim that the player deserves NBA Champ status.

It was hard to predict two years ago that the Raptors would be defending champions and KLow would be playing the best basketball of his career.

Yet here we are in 2019 defying the odds and becoming legends.
