Ultimate Toronto fans are gonna love this one! In honour of the first puck-drop to start off the Toronto Maple Leafs' new NHL season, another Toronto Raptors video dropped on Twitter. Canadians are known for their hockey lingo and Raptors players showed off their knowledge, all while sporting puck gear.

The season opener drop between the Leafs and their rivals the Ottawa Senators gets going tonight at 7 p.m. Fans are welcomed to join a tailgate party at Maple Leaf Square from 5 p.m.

This isn't the first video some Raptors players have taken part in. Players showed off their Canadian side by trying to speak in French earlier this week, and the hilarious video garnered a lot of attention from French-speaking fans.

The Toronto Maple Leafs seemed to love the latest vid. Or, at least, their social media admin did, as the team's account tweeted back at the video, joining in on the fun.

And, just like last time, the team's video caused something of a social media stir. Lots of people are definitely feeling the love when it comes to the Raptors cheering on the Leafs and are enjoying the bball-hockey crossover.

"Boys supporting boys. That's what I'm talking about," read one tweet.

One cynical person, though, wondered if the basketball stars actually knew what these terms and sayings meant.

Although some fans are totally loving this special shoutout, some people are not so into it. Some of the "delete this tweet" brigade were out, and some fans sound like they're cringing a bit.

Another running theme was Marc Gasol, a famous celebrator, who fans think should and would take part in Leafs celebrations, were Canada's team to end their long drought in 2020.

"If the Leafs win the Cup, Marc will use that jersey to sneak on the parade bus". It's fair to say this definitely hints back at Gasol's celebrations during the Raptors parade which were just too awesome.

The Leafs face the Sens tonight and many are counting on an opening win for the white and blue. Now it's time to support another team that is due for a huge win.

Maybe the recent luck Toronto sports has had β€” the Raptors, Bianca Andreescu, and all the rest β€” will rub off on the Leafs.
