LeBron James Relives His Football Glory Days With Lakers Teammates & It's Giving Us Feels
NFL fever reaches the Laker locker room
The new-look Los Angeles Lakers have become one the favorites to win the NBA title this season. With LeBron James heading into his second season in LA alongside a cast of characters led by Anthony Davis, showtime basketball definitely seems to have returned to the West Coast. While the regular season is only one week away, this Tuesday the Lakers players showed an apparent interest in an entirely different sport altogether.
James joined Rajon Rondo, Dwight Howard and the rest of the Lakers team on the football field for some training following their win against the Golden State Warriors. James could not seem more comfortable. Don't forget, the four-time NBA MVP was a star high school football player as well.
LeBron is heading toward his 17th season in the NBA. Three NBA titles and a boatload of records into the game, James is showing no signs of stopping. Just when you think this will be the season where James begins to decline, he finds that extra gear and amazes us all over again.
The "crazy" statement James made years ago stating that he wished to play in the league until Bronny would go pro iswith each passing day.
For James' prophecy to become reality, he would have to play until he is 39. But after watching footage of the NBA veteran on the football field, we're thinking James could go until 45 if he so chose to.
It's not a coincidence the guy is considered to be one of the greatest athletes the NBA has ever seen.
Other Lakers players got in on the pig sin action as well.
Lakers fans were sharing their thoughts on the change of scenery for Tuesday's training session.
Here are some of the reactions we found on twitter:
Stay tuned and find out whether the football-centric training session pays off for the Lakers.
