The Jr. NBA Global Championship is a youth basketball tournament for the top 13 and 14-year-old boys and girls from around the world. This year's tournament wrapped up in Orlando, FL on Sunday.

Team West (USA) defeated Team Africa in the championship game for the boys, while Team Central (USA) beat Team Canada for the girls.

You may notice a familiar face in that second video; Dwyane Wade was in the house on Global Championship Ambassador duties.

While the Heat star is currently enjoying retirement in Los Angeles by showing up at the Kids Choice Awards or being a guest host alongside Gabrielle Union in 'America's Got Talent,' Wade was able to make time in his busy schedule for the basketball stars of tomorrow.

The Jr. NBA Global Championships were held at the Disney Wide World of Sports complex. Before the final matchups were played on Sunday afternoon, Dwyane Wade made a surprise appearance in front of the young ballers Saturday evening. Judging by the response, it seems there is a bit of a Miami Heat inside every young basketball player thanks to D Wade.

That D Wade: such a man of the people, doing a lap around the room and high-fiving the youth before dropping some knowledge on them.

Wade held an exclusive Q & A with the players and coaches while he was in the building.

After he gave the lucky players some great insight, it was time for photos. The boys Africa team were the international champions at this point in the tournament.

During Team Africa's photo session with the Heat Legend, one of the African players, Marouf Moumine decided that it was time he taught Dwyane Wade a thing or two.

To our (and the internet's) delight, Moumine gave Wade some dancing lessons by showing him Africa's team dance.

Kudos to Wade for giving it a go. Judging by the team's reaction, the future Hall of Famer did a good job.

Wade was seen courtside Sunday afternoon as the boys and girls Championship matches were set to get underway. He seemed to be well accompanied too.
