These Are The Exact Locations Of Newfoundland And Labrador's First Legal Cannabis Stores Opening On October 17th
Like most other provinces and territories, Newfoundland and Labrador is crunching to prepare for October 17th, the day that recreational marijuana becomes legal across Canada. Newfoundland's first online cannabis shop is officially live, and 30 private store locations are set to open their doors - however, of those 30, only 9 will reportedly be open for business on legalization day.
Legal weed will officially go on sale at 12:01 AM on October 17th in Newfoundland. But, according to the Premier, all sales will have to wrap up by 2 AM to comply with provincial regulations.
It remains unclear which of Newfoundland's cannabis shops will be up and running on the big day. But, all Loblaws locations preparing for marijuana sales will reportedly be fully operational.
