Chris Hatch, CEO of Food Banks Canada, said in a statement that "Frontline workers, across so many sectors including food banking, have been drastically impacted by COVID-19. They need our support and we are thankful for Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble for helping our most vulnerable neighbours."
This TV special comes after the Canada Together: In Concert initiative which was a five-night broadcast to support Food Banks Canada and Unison Benevolent Fund's COVID-19 relief efforts.
Featured artists included Shania Twain, Luke Combs, Lady Antebellum, and Morgan Wallen.
The living room concert trend from artists all around the world is increasingly popular as people are staying home and boredom is setting in. It's also a great opportunity to help raise funds for organizations in need during the pandemic.
You can watch Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble on April 26 at 7 p.m. on CTV, CBC, Global Television and Citytv networks.
