Canadian Politicians Share Support For The MP Who Accidentally Joined A Meeting Naked
The Canadian MP who accidentally joined a meeting naked is receiving messages of support and well-wishes from Canadian politicians across the country.
MP William Amos, who represents the Quebec riding of Pontiac, described being “obviously” embarrassed on Wednesday, when he accidentally appeared on screen during a virtual House of Commons conference wearing no clothes.

The MP explained that he had accidentally left his camera on as he changed into his work clothes after going for a jog.

He apologized to his colleagues in the House and described the situation as “a really unfortunate mistake,” before promising that it would never happen again.

While the image of Amos without clothing did not show up on the public live stream, a screenshot of the mishap was shared online via some media outlets.

This prompted several Liberal MPs to speak out in support of Amos, with Peter Fragiskatos urging Canadians to “focus on issues that actually matter” and Iqra Khalid adding that “violating someone’s privacy by sharing leaked nude photos is disgusting and illegal.”
