If you had a flight cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you could soon get a refund from Air Canada.

In a new statement, following an agreement with the federal government, the company confirmed that it would be offering “refunds for all fares for flights affected by COVID-19 since February 1, 2020.”

The federal government and Air Canada have come to an agreement on a $5.9 billion aid package, which intends to help the airline refund more passengers and restore flight services to regional Canadian communities.
