Tornado Warning In Ontario Has Been Issued & People Are Being Told To Take Cover Now
A tornado warning is in effect across parts of Ontario and people are being asked to take cover immediately.
Environment Canada issued a Tornado warning in Huron-Perth at 4:26 p.m. and a warning for the Grey-Bruce area at 4:44 p.m. today.
"This is a dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation. Take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches. If you hear a roaring sound or see a funnel cloud, swirling debris near the ground, flying debris, or any threatening weather approaching, take shelter immediately," reads the alert.
The affected areas in Grey- Bruce, according to Environment Canada, are "Port Albert, Lucknow, Zion, Kintail, Kingsbridge, Crewe, Lanes, Mafeking, Belfast and St. Helens and Lucknow."

The affected areas in the Huron- Perth area, according to Environment Canada, are Wingham, Blyth and Northern Huron County.
The Weather Network is urging people in Wingham, Blyth, and Northern Huron County in Ontario to take cover immediately.
Environment Canada suggests those impacted "Go indoors to a room on the lowest floor, away from outside walls and windows, such as a basement, bathroom, stairwell or interior closet. Leave mobile homes, vehicles, tents, trailers and other temporary or free-standing shelter, and move to a strong building if you can. As a last resort, lie in a low spot and protect your head from flying debris."
