Calling all ballet lovers! The Nutcracker is coming back to Toronto's stage at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts this holiday season.

The show will run from December 10 to the 31 and tickets go on sale October 5, according to the press release.

Don't you just love team bonding? The Toronto Raptors certainly seem to enjoy it. Matt Thomas just told everyone that his teammate and beloved point guard Kyle Lowry basically made him do The Nutcracker with him last month. Lowry definitely knows how to make his teammates feel welcomed and insisted that Thomas doll up with him.

Both players made what we assume were their respective theatre-stage debuts in the famous ballet last month, playing the part of cannon dolls.

What do the Toronto Raptors and the National Ballet of Canada have in common? Certainly not a lot, however, the two did join forces last night to help bring The Nutcracker to life. Kyle Lowry and Matt Thomas took their talents to the theatre on Thursday night, performing as Cannon Dolls in the ballet’s production of the Christmas classic.

It probably would’ve been enough just to have the two Raptors appear in the background of the production, but true to their nature, they left it all on the stage.

Kyle Lowry is a talented guy, but he's branching out. The Toronto Raptors star has been announced as a guest star in a famous ballet in the 6ix this month. In fact, Kyle Lowry's The Nutcracker debut will see him follow in the footsteps of Maple Leafs stars Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner by transforming into a Cannon Doll on stage.

As announced by the National Ballet of Canada, you can catch Lowry's rather unexpected cameo for just one night only on December 19, 2019.
