A class-action lawsuit has been launched in relation to prepaid credit cards from Amex Bank of Canada (AMEX), Vancouver City Savings Credit Union and/or Citizens Bank of Canada (Vancity), Peoples Card Services Limited Partnership, Peoples Card Services Ltd., and Peoples Trust Company (Peoples Trust), and All Trans Financial Services Credit Union Limited (All Trans).

According to the press release, the class action alleges that some cards issued between November 1, 2008 and July 18, 2016 had “fees and/or expiry dates” that were “improperly imposed.”

Representatives for Marcella Zoia — otherwise known as Chair Girl — are allegedly threatening legal action against the company behind the Infamous 6ix trading cards that have been popping up around Toronto.

Tim Matheson, the creator of the cards, told Narcity that a legal representative for Zoia wrote him a cease and desist letter which said that Zoia did not give permission for her likeness to be used and sold on the trading card.
