We all know and love Bring Your Own Container Day at 7/11, but Name Your Price Day could definitely be a close second favourite.

This Friday (September 23rd, 2016) 7/11 will be offering large Slurpees for a minimum price of 50 cents. And best of all, 100% of the proceeds will be going to Canadian Food Banks.  Every dollar donated will provide 3 dollars in meals to those in need.  In past years this special day has raised enough money to provide over 690,000 meals for those in need! And, 36% of those meals were given to children & youth.
