Ask anyone and they'll say the worst parts of Vancouver are: traffic, weather, and TransLink.

I get that everyone thinks their transit system is the worst but Vancouver needs to seriously get it together. I mean we don't even have a proper system to transfer from the bus to the Skytrain without a special blue card that will automatically cost you $6. What am I made of? Cash??

The skytrain is an integral part of many people's commute in the Lower Mainland. However, the skytrain stations are currently limited to only certain areas of the Lower Mainland, which can be frustrating for people.

And with currently over 2.3 million people living in the Greater Vancouver area, the amount of stations we have currently may not seem to be enough; especially when you compare the skytrain map against those of other cities. For example, Vienna has a smaller population than Vancouver, with currently 1.8 million inhabitants, yet the city has more than double the amount of metro stations Vancouver has.

It's no secret that Toronto's subway system needs work. But it's only when you put its subway map against those of other major cities around the world that you realize just how much work it really needs. Seriously, some of these cities have such massive systems that even seasoned commuters in Toronto might have difficulty navigating through them on their first few gos.

So the school year has officially resumed and that means the start of readings, assignments, and all that is fun and school related. Don't get me wrong, the commencement of classes aren't so bad as you get to finally be productive again and get pumped with all kinds of school spirit. The University of Guelph-Humber was established in 2002 as a collaboration between the University of Guelph and Humber College. That being said, it's no wonder why this baby faced university is often overlooked and under represented within the pool of Ontario universities.

This university, small but mighty, is climbing its way up with more and more students enrolling into the growing family of GH Owls with nothing but amazing things to report. But every school has its strengths and struggles, and this one has no exceptions.

For the last four years, Union Station has been hell for commuters with all that construction going down in the TTC. Union Station is already as congested enough as it is, especially during rush hour, and the construction didn't make it any better. Approximately 125,000 TTC customers use Union Station each and everyday, making it one of the busiest transportation hubs in the city. And luckily for all of those people, the TTC recently announced changes that will make your commute a lot easier!

At last, Union has unveiled their second subway platform! Your rush hour commute is going to be a lot less stressful, as the station's capacity has now doubled with the existence of this second platform. You won't have to feel like a sardine making your way through the busy subway station with all your fellow frustrated commuters anymore.
