On December 22, charges were laid in relation to the death of Jonathan Henoche, 33, while he was a prisoner at Her Majesty’s Penitentiary in St. John’s in November of 2019. The St. John's inmate death was ruled a homicide and 10 corrections officers have been charged. 

According to the police release, the officers responsible are aged between 28 and 51. The charges are as follows:

An investigation into a Nunavut RCMP officer who hit a man with their car door has concluded that it wasn’t done "intentionally."

The Ottawa Police Service was asked by the RCMP to do a criminal investigation into what happened on June 1 in Kinngait when a man was hit by the open door of a police vehicle and knocked over.

Police are asking for the public's help in locating a dangerous criminal who was accidentally set free.

Toronto police reported that a man had appeared in court on July 16 to answer for criminal charges.*

Several of the charges were allegedly stayed in court and the suspect was released.
