Extremely cold temperatures hit Southern California very quickly this week, and suddenly just like that, it's winter on the West Coast.

Temperatures took a swift drop all across the region, with weekend rain and mountain snow causing actual freeze warnings in San Luis Obispo County just north of Los Angeles, as well as in Apple and Lucerne Valley in SoCal.

The spookiest holiday of the year is almost here, and while it may look a little bit different in 2020, people will still want to know what the weather is going to be. Canada's Halloween forecast may differ depending on the region, but most places will be looking at a chilling evening as temperatures drop. Only one area is expected to have any temperatures above 10 degrees.

What that means is that if holiday activities are allowed in your region (they have been restricted in some areas), it'll be best to bundle up and be prepared for inclement weather.

Dallas is no stranger to colder weather but the people are definitely not used to it.

While those up north in Canada have definitely adapted to frigid temps, it seems that they are actually catching a slight break compared to those in the Big D.

North Texas entered an unusually early winter blast this week, forcing Dallasites to wake up to 40-degree temperatures with a constant downpour of rain, while those in Toronto were treated to a warmer but still not-so cozy 44 degrees.
