If I'm being totally and completely honest with you, I'm definitely someone who follows the hype. I love watching Youtube videos that talk about the newest beauty trends and makeup products that makeup gurus are pining for. But over the years I've come to realize that there are so many incredibly expensive makeup products that are simply just overrated and not worth it.

It's only been one year since the launch of Kylie Jenner's Kylie Cosmetics, and the hype around her makeup is still very real. Makeup geeks everywhere are still picking up her lip kits, Kylighters and eyeshadow palettes.

She even just released her new Purple Kyshadow Palette, a revamped version of her vacation highlighters, and her Fall 2017 line of warm tone beige themed lip kits with names like "Pumpkin" and "Butternut". So in my opinion, seems like her Kylie empire is still going strong.

Being at Sephora literally makes any makeup lover feel like Charlie at Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. All the shades and colours, scents and textures, no wonder makeup has never been a dying business.

The only thing about spending too much time at Sephora is that you might end up walking out with a basket full of makeup that probably ate up half of your rent. It's not hard to be a VIB Rouge because makeup is just damn expensive.

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, so you're gonna drape those bad boys with some beautiful ass curtains. If your eyes are the windows, your eyeshadow is the curtains. 

Now, when it comes to eyeshadow, there are literally so many different options. I mean, can I get an amen when I say you will 100% of the time walk out of Sephora with a million eyeshadow swatches on your arms? Amen. But the only thing is, high-end eyeshadow can be extortionately expensive. A six colour eyeshadow palette from Dior for $70? I don't think so.
