If you purchased ginger ale in Quebec between January 14, 2016, and November 11, 2020, then you might qualify for some Canada Dry Settlement cash.
As you may have heard, a B.C. man launched a lawsuit against Canada Dry, claiming that the company falsely marketed the product as having health benefits. Now, a settlement is available to people who bought those products.
All consumers who purchased in Quebec any Canada Dry Ginger Ale product marketed as “Made from Real Ginger” or “Fait à partir de vrai gingembre” [...]
Notice of Settlement
According to the settlement, if you purchased five or more cans with the above message on them, you may be able to claim up to $7.50.
The settlements will be reviewed on March 16, 2021.
Canada Dry will be putting forward $650,000 to settle the class action.
So, if you're anything like the B.C. man who was drinking ginger ale while under the impression that it was good for his health, you may have a couple of bucks coming your way.
All you need to do is submit your application and wait to see what happens.
