In an announcement on February 9, Justin Trudeau confirmed that Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) repayments will be scrapped for thousands of Canadians who incorrectly applied for the benefit.

For several months, members of the public and leading politicians have been calling on the government to backtrack on repayments, particularly because the benefit’s eligibility criteria were considered to be unclear and confusing.

The TTC just went through a cleanliness audit and shockingly (not shockingly) didn't do all that well. If you've ever taken the TTC in your life, you can probably verify that it isn't the cleanest mode of transportation you've ever taken, what with animals, litter and sometimes bodily fluids (we're looking at you, blue line) accompanying you on your ride. 

The audits are completed by a third party called Surge Group, who evaluates the amount of litter in the station, as well as the cleanliness of elevators, stairs, glass and more. Each category gets a ranking out of 5 that's then added up and converted into a percentage. The goal is a reasonable 75% - but it's unfortunately a number they hardly hit.

Ah yes, so.You're texting a guy you're seeing/dating/made out with once after last call. You had a great time whenever you last touched-tounges and you are low-key into it. Of course, you can't be together 24/7 or even 15/5, so you do what we all do - text. 

Texting someone you're into can be complete and utter trash because of all the politics associated with online/virtual dating. How long do you wait before clicking send? What kind of emojis do you use? If you send a text at 2 a.m. is he going to magically appear on your door with pizza and lube? So many questions.

Everyone enjoys a good game of Would You Rather. It's a game of choice played drunk or sober that presents two choices (whether it be totally tempting or simply outrageous) that you have to choose from. It's hilarious what options are given and even more hilarious what option is being chosen. The thing about Toronto is that there are so many outrageous people, places and circumstances to imagine choosing from.
