Despite the chilly weather, winter can still be beautiful. One Toronto tradition that's returning in the new year will prove just that.
The Bloor-Yorkville Icefest is a massive ice festival that takes place annually in the heart of the city every February. Several fun events are held that are suitable for all ages, including ice carving competitions, extravagant ice sculpture tours, maple syrup taffy stations and much more.
Last year, the event attracted over 35,000 people as well as 40 local businesses. Surely, this year will bring the same magic to the streets of Toronto!
This year, the Icefest will run on February 25th and 26th, and they are currently looking for interested participants! See their website here for details.
